Here is a list of what I find wrong with this organization:

1) While on Benefits, Payable rent is a mere 8 pounds per week.

2) If you're working, you are liable for the maximum rent of 187 pounds

3) The staff are bad role models - they promote smoking (standing outside the entrance while filling their nicotine habit.

4) Due to the low rent for those on benefits, the staff ADVISE residents to avoid working!

5) The building is full of drug users and sellers

6) They DO NOT support people as they advertise

7) The staff do not dress appropriate, often a few staff members have very poor hygiene, again this is another example of being poor/bad role models.

8) When there is violence within the building, they do not do their best to resolve the situation - one person was attacked and the attacker was allowed to remain a resident, causing the victim great distress.

9) Despite complaints of drug use and selling within the building, nothing is done about it.

10) There's a hundred more reasons.. but to the point.

Why should we, the tax payer, be paying for these "Young People" to live so cheap while smoking cannabis, taking meth or coke?

Why are the staff so incompetent at their job? Why do they not tackle the anti-social behaviour (including drugs) in a timely manner?

Why are the residents encouraged to not get a job?

Do you know see why this place should not be open? No? Okay how about I do some calculations for you so you know how much tax payers money is spent (rounded to nearest pound)

All of these are PER WEEK! ***LHA = Local Housing Allowance, formally known as Housing Benefit***

Service Charge = 8

LHA (benefits only) = 177

Total (Which employed residents pay) =185

Now there are 52 weeks in a year so here's the simple sums

Service Charge per year - 416

LHA = 9204

Total = 9620

So for each non working resident, we pay a whopping 9204 per year from tax to support these people, Here's where its even more interesting,

There are 46 rooms used by residents.... That 9204 per year... well now its

425040

Again, I ask, why are we paying this much, from our tax money, to allow these people to do what they want?

Drugs, Alchohol, Anti-Social Behaviour? It's not all caused by the scheme, but the scheme certainly does nothing to change the ways.

Join me in getting this place closed. It's bad for the community, the residents health, and for the tax payers!
