The petition

The Clontarf Branch of Comhaltas Ceolteoiri Éireann (CCÉ), an organisation of some 400 members has been the premier force on north eastern side of Dublin for the teaching and promotion of Irish traditional music for 45 years. These activities have been put a risk by the unjust dissolution of the branch, an action undertaken by Comhaltas HQ to exclude the branch from having any role in the governance of the Clasaċ Arts centre. This, despite the branch having initiated the development and having spent 15 years fundraising for it.

The Clontarf Branch of CCÉ is appealing to you now for your support against its unjust dissolution by the headquarters of CCÉ.

We the undersigned call for:
• the unjust dissolution of the Clontarf Branch of CCÉ to be immediately rescinded
• the appointment of an independant arbitrator to resolve any issues under dispute
