| 1 | Bob Holmes | Hillary you have a role to play in shaping a new America but unfortunatly it is not as President.
"Senior-level leadership is the art of direct and indirect influence and the skill of creating the conditions for sustained organizational success to achieve the desired result. But, above all, it is the art of taking a vision of what must be done, communicating it in a way that the intent is clearly understood, and then being tough enough to ensure its execution." FM 22-103, Leadership and
Command at Senior Levels, 21 Jun 1987, p. 6, signed by Gen John A. Wickham, Jr., Chief of Staff |
| 2 | christopher evans | Time for you to go Hillary. |
| 3 | Anonymous | I agree with everything in the petition. It is a very hard thing for Senator Clinton to do but it is for the best. |
| 4 | Peter Chang | Please, for the good of the party and our hopes in November, stop trying to destroy Mr. Obama. You will have more chances, but if you continue on the path you are currently taking of openly mocking and ridiculing your opponent with childish attacks, you are ruining your own future as well as the party's. As someone who has voted twice for you in NY, your continued attacks will mean you've lost my vote in any future elections, Senate or Presidential. |

| 9 | Anonymous | Please. It's time to come out of Mr. Penn's bubble and think about the good of the party and of the country. |

| 11 | Gillian Sandground | I believe that you have both the courage and the patriotism to take this wrenching step now rather than to divide the electorate and hand John McCain and the Republican party the opportunity to inflict what could be the death blow to true democracy in this country |

| 18 | Leonard Delaney | Senator Clinton; I supported your candidacy at the beginning of this primary season, but I can no longer in good conscience continue to do so. I had seen you as the inevitable nominee. Strong name recognition, good record in the Senate, and many years of experience, and a primary schedule that was heavily front loaded in your favor.
Senator Obama not only survived Super Tuesday, but came away with a momentum that does not show any signs of lessening. In 11 straight contests Obama has won by impressive margins. The polls in Texas and Ohio indicate that be March 4th he could continue the streak. To make matters worse, the negative campaign ploys are weakening our party and supplying fodder for the Republican 'swift boat' machine that lies in wait for our nominee to emerge.
The time has come to make a tough decision. I respectfully ask you to stand down from your campaign and support Barack Obama as the Democratic nominee for the good of the Democratic Party. |

| 23 | Anonymous | Please stop this negativity and withdraw. |
| 24 | Mark Batory | Senator Clinton can continue to devote herself to public service -- she is not losing her office, and will certainly be considered for a post in the Obama administration -- but polls show Obama can beat McCain and Hillary cannot. And that's now -- while Clinton certainly leads in name recognition. She would drag down the entire Democratic ticket because of her broadly perceived negatives -- whether deserved or not. |
| 25 | Collin Spears | Hillary Clinton can not catch up or the chances of her doing so in a way that would be seen as fair by the party rank and file are low. She needs to drop out by March 5th and endorse Obama so he can focus on fighting McCain, if the Democrats hope to win the November Election. It really is that simple. Howard Dean is correct. This can not go to the convention. Hillary is (and likely will stay) behind in pledged delegates and the popular vote. The only way she can win is to seat states that were to be excluded or by Super Delegate wrangling; either way will divide the part. |
| 26 | Q Hays | For the betterment of the country, please do the right thing Senator Clinton. You will always have our gratitude and respect... |
| 27 | Heath Hughes | Senator Clinton, you deserve this nomination and I support you until the end. It's devastating to see you pushed aside by the media and clueless voters following the celebrity candidate. Next up, people will try to just run an election through American Idol. Ridiculous! |
| 28 | Alan Rohatsch | I Live in Mexico after years of fighting for civil rights,
gay rights, woman's rights, and now feel we have lost the country to congressional greed to kowtow to corporation's need to rake the country...pls give up and give another chance for real change! or I will never return to my country of choice...sadly goodbye |
| 29 | Anonymous | We look forward to your continued contributions in Congress. Let's unite this country and civilization world-wide. |

| 37 | Terence D. Fermnando | Senator Clinton: I loved your husband's presidency and would have voted for you just two months ago, But I changed because, if elected as President, you will not only be opposed by Republicans in the Congress, even the Democrats have no love for you.
FOR THE SAKE OF THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY, PLEASE STEP DOWN.
Best Wishes,
Terence |

| 42 | The Rev. Neil Tadken | Please save the Party from a disasterously contentious convention. It is time to rally forces to challnenge what will be a well fought effort by the Republican party. |
| 43 | Anonymous | I voted for you in the Democrats Abroad primary but I think it is time for you to resign from the race for the good of the party. Please consider a cabinet position--I think you would be great at HUD! |
| 44 | larry broome | we want you to be the leader of our new real Democratic majority in the Senate. Do not prolong this anymore.

| 45 | Anonymous | i would like to restore the resect i once had for you ,but the can only happen if you concede with the dignity and grace you used to have. |

| 48 | Anita Prost | Please bow out gracefully, for your own sake, for the sake of the party and the country. |
| 49 | Mitchell Lewis Fletcher | time to move forward the party. |
| 50 | Stephanie Ray | If you would have voted against the war, nothing in the world could have prevented me from supporting you in 2008. Instead, I feel as though you are trying to be both a hawk and a dove, perhaps because you felt you had something to prove.
Please listen to what your own party leadership and the voters of Ohio and Texas tell you.
Thank you. |
