Comments: i have seen alot of the south east USA legal system and this is one of the results. For a country that prides itself on freedom and fairness your legal system is a travesty.

Comments: I have not read all the facts or the court case, but from what I have read and if accurate; it would appear Clinton Young is solely being framed for double murder. To think that one 18 year old was capable of pulling off two murders by himself, the court has given far more credit than is possible. If the sentence is death, the jury absolutely should have access to all evidence surrounding the case. Can anyone involved in this case say it was a fair and balanced ruling if something is left out Equal effort on attempting to prove guilt should also be applied to proving innocence. After all, if it is even slightly possible something was left out or a mistake was made during trial, an execution can not be reverted. We certainly know that death row inmates have been executed to only find out years later that someone was incompetent with a DNA analyses or mishandled evidence. I’m not saying he is innocent or guilty...but every ounce of evidence should be considered before reaching a conclusion. As far as the death penalty, I have become more liberal with my age (33 y/o). There are certain circumstances where I agree with the death penalty for those few who absolutely will continue to commit man slaughter. If they are faced with life in a 5x5 box or being sedated with medications, I myself would rather be put out of my misery.

Comments: Thou Shalt Not Kill is not limited to murder! I know this young man, and I don't see the gain in ending his life. This does not return the dead to life. Capital punishment only does two things. It creates another corpse and it puts another family into bereavement. One might as well attempt to extinguish a fire with gasoline! I pray to God that this nation continue to awaken when it comes to legal murder! Texas is NOT like a "whole other country". IT IS a whole other country! They should rename it " THE FOURTH REICH!"
