The relocation of Asia Plaza Clinic will have a detrimental impact on the AsiaTown Chinese community and others who rely on the clinic for their basic primary and preventative health care needs.
In Cuyahoga County, this is the ONLY clinic that meets the unique language and cultural needs of low-income Chinese and other Asian populations. A move to a new location will mean a greater barrier for these underserved populations.

The emails I get from people terrified about losing their access to care are heavy enough to keep me up at night. I am still pushing for a real conversation with the planners behind this move because the community deserves someone to look them in the eye and explain why this matters. It is exhausting work but there is no other option than to keep fighting.

Seeing this kind of movement is exhausting but it proves that people are finally paying attention to the needs of our community. I am tired of fighting for basics that should be a given but your support keeps me from walking away.

This clinic is the only way my parents can actually speak to their doctor. Sending them all the way to Broadway is just impossible for them.
Keep the clinic on Payne. It just makes sense.
Too many seniors rely on this place to get around town. Moving it hurts everyone who doesnt have a car.
Stop ignoring the needs of the community. Cleveland has to do better than this.
My grandmother has been going there for years because they speak her language. Why take that away from her now??

Ridiculous move. Keep services where the people actually live.
