The roadside litter issue is one that is being discussed increasingly by many of our Western Downs Communities. I for one am tired of the talk and would like to see some action.

The amount of roadside rubbish is at a point of critical mass in the Western Downs;

Need to come up with solutions to assist and improve roadside cleanliness;

Impacts on our environment are devastating;

Contaminated waterways are of major concern;

Our filthy roadsides make it increasingly difficult to promote our towns and communities as proud, savvy and progressive places to live, work and visit;

Support, involvement and assistance are required to table this as a serious issue for our region;

Lobbying,strategies and actions are required to effect change and improved outcomes for our communities and environment in relation to roadside rubbish.
