Clarity Products, one of the companies that produces alerting systems for the deaf and hard-of-hearing, does not build accessibility into each system for their deaf-blind consumers.  The reason being is that the clarity system features a large display, with big buttons to set it. 

I am proposing the following alterations be made:

1.  All of you sign this petition (if you do, we have a equal success rate for change.)

2.  Clarity, should work in conjunction with Apple, and Humanware, to create an IPhone app that can be used for the blind with speech for those who have residual hearing, and a Braille Display would be able to be connected for the deaf-blind.  Each system would feature audible alerts, such as doorbell activated, or when the   Fire alarm is triggspeaker would get louder and louder.  Furthermore, but not a requirement, Clarity could make a personalized option, so that users could create personal voices that he or she can hear best for those with remaining hearing.  I believe that these are long-overdue alterations that need  to be addressed to make  the products accessible for all consumers, not just the deaf but the deaf-blind!
