The Department of Childrens and Family Services in Clark County Nevada has been under scrutiny for years. The most recent efforts to bring to light the troubles have just begun. The National Center for Youth Alliance working together with a local firm in Las Vegas filed a lawsuit naming all of the County Commissioners. The First Amended Complaint addresses 79 childrens DEATHS while CPS was SUPPOSED to be taking care of these families. "Child Haven" the place where nearly all of the children go after being removed from the care of sometimes parents who have been "deemed as safe" by the agency and the workers was only very recently given a license to care for children. For years they operated without a license to care for children while recieving Federal money and State money. (They are living with the man who molested my older daughter and is awaiting trial facing 25 to life) Oh and my youngest daughter she just turned 9 the same age as my older daughter was when the sexual abuse began. And reports continue to come in that now the younger child is being sexually molested. Been fighting in "Family" Court for two years NOTHING has changed yet.
