Comments: I am an Irish citizen, born & bred in Dublin and now currently live in the US. I am very disappointed to hear that when I die my death will not be registered in Ireland should I not happen to be living there at that given moment. No matter where I live Ireland will always be home. I hope this is changed.

Comments: I'm Irish and have been living in Madrid, Spain for 30 years now, and I've never given up my Nationality as I'm very proud of being Irish, so when my time comes of course I want my death to be registered in Ireland. It's bad enough that we can't vote in the General Elections of either country, so let us be registered in death in both countries.

Comments: This is essential - many of us living abroad pay taxes and house charges etc at home. Bad enough we can't vote, now we are not even recognized if we die.
