San Rafael, CA--Save our Civic Center Neighborhood

The County is in the process of evaluating the east parking lot, patanque court and dog park for a Public Safety building designed to house emergency services, communications and their vehicles.

This is a residential area, there are 9 children under the age of 10 on Golf Ave. We are concerned for the safety of our children and other pedestrians in the area. This proposal would block access to the Marin County Fair and would negatively affect the property values in our neighborhood. Let the County find another more appropriate site for the development of this facility that does not impact pedestrian traffic and areas where children play.
