    Comments: I as an Assyrian support the idea to preserve our Assyrian heritage. Already, due to the Arabization,Islamization and wars we lost many artifacts and we can't afford loosing more and I appreciate your efforts in preserving our Assyrian capital the city of Ashur.

    Comments: The iraqi govmnt.can try to erase the assyrian history but they can not erase Gods handi work, he will continue to punish them as he has in the past and in the future, the iraqi army cowardly slaughtered over 3000 defensless assyrian old people,women and children in 1933 in the village of Semele but since then over one million iraqis have died in constant bloody wars and the iraqi govmnt. still will not wake up and smell the coffee that Aassyrian christians are the jewel on the iraqi peoples turbins, or hats, GOD bless Assyria (Bet-Nahrain).

    Comments: Josie Richardson - For me your best post this year was definately Rachel and Jeff. I would've comtenmed on it but by the time I realised you already had 240 comments, so I didn't. When you first started putting previews up I didn't pay too much attention. Initially I thought the editing was just a bit too different for me. Now i think it will be one of my all time favourites which I just keep returning to. Like Nick and Surya's. The simplicity and rawness of those images are heart-wrenching. A great example of what can happen when the right couple is combined with the right photographer. Pure majic.Looking forward to more mind-blowing goodness next year Jonas!
