558 vicky bellgood behavior/early release is a step to cut down the already over-crowding of our prison system.

561 AnonymousI have a husband incarcerated and I would want him to get you. His mother has been in the hospital and she is too old to die without her son by her side and it would be a tragedy for him to lose her and not see her for the last time. I think he has learned his lesson. I have a brother right now who had a liver transplant and I need my husband for support in times like this. I feel that non violance inmates should be released and the people that have minor violance charges should help us fight the war and be drafted so they can use their hostility against the real enemy and not their own people.
562 Dorie MerinoI agree with this completely other then the earned good time. Here is a sad fact in most of our prisons it takes forever to get into a program if it is even offered. My husband has been in for 8 months already and has been looking for drug and school programs and with the wait for school he will already e out, And he cant get into a drug program. If there is going to be this good release then we need the programs to be offered and we need them offered evenly through out the IL prison system. To make it fair for every one to get a chance. We send people out with no more skills then they had when they come in. And we wonder why they re-offend. Honestly other then sitting around watching tv and eating what are they gaining. We want them to be law abiding citizens but WHAT ARE WE DOING TO HELP THIS NOTHING!!!! They are going back to the same things they new before they came in. They have a hard time getting a job, and with a family to take care of what do they go back to!!! We really need to re think our system.

567 Betty HodgesThere are alot of innocent people in prison by using bogus witnesses. EVIDENCE dosent lie PEOPLE do! Purjery is only enforced when it benifits the prosecution. my son JACK SZAREK is paying a heavy price for a crime that MICHAEL JARES commited. JACK was railroaded and NOONE cares. He deserves a 2nd chance!!!!!
