Comments: This decision is very distressing and the pain and suffering that would inevitably happen would be unbearable. These beautiful gentle creatures must be protected. It is our duty as caring human beings to help them.

Comments: Given the inconclusive findings of the MIKE studies and the questions around the checks made on the governments to show that any funds raised from these sales go back in conservation, then all sales of stockpiled ivory should be stopped.

Comments: This makes no sense to me at all. Elephants need our protection. This is purely commerically driven with no regards for the animals, and the black market and crime it might fuel.

Comments: How can any human justify the killing of these beautiful animals: destroying their family units. For what! Are we, as humans, that materialistic that the life of an elephant is less important than something to be bought made from ivory. Disgusting!! Stop the Sale of Ivory Stockpiles!

Comments: This is absolutely appalling! My heart cries out for the elephant lives that have already been taken whose tusks are amongst the ivory stockpiles and the thought of those who will die in the future for the greed of humans for their ivory. The families that have been torn apart through poaching and culling and all the baby elephants made orphans through the intentional killing of their mothers by humans. It is not our God-given right to take the life of another living being, why does man think it is I cannot comprehend this nor the decision to sell the ivory stockpiles which everyone knows will certainly cause the horrible death of more of these beautiful creatures, to be shot down and have their faces hacked apart for the sake of their teeth. Find something else to carve statues out of, you don't need the ivory now or ever!

Comments: It is outrageous and indecent that China has been granted the sale of this stockpiled ivory. This decision is immoral and only leads to unnecessary death and untold suffering of elephants and also people as ivory sales fund militias. China needs to give up its thirst for ivory and fast.
