The City Council approved the funding for the recreation pools this morning. Our proposal to allocate the specific budget amount passed and the facilities will open as scheduled. We will monitor the implementation phase to ensure these funds reach the sites mentioned in our original request.

The petition reached 250 signatures today. I am currently finalizing a formal letter to the City Manager that details our request for the $900,000 funding allocation. I will present this document along with the signature list during the next public budget hearing.

900k is nothing compared to the extra money they have. stop acting like the city is broke.
Pools are safe places for teenagers to hang out. If they close them we are just asking for trouble in the streets.
summer is coming and kids need to swim. Keep them open.
RIDICULOUS. We pay taxes for these services and they are the first thing cut every time. Do better Cincy.
My kids have nowhere else to go in the summer. Its hot enough as it is. Open the pools!
