   Comments: Yes, was counting on the hard-won agreements between previous students and faculty to carry forward during our couse of study. Seeing the Labor Day weekend back on next year's schedule was quite shocking. Please honor the students' plans and commitments to keep their traditions alive on Labor Day now, and into the future. Students shoukd not have to petition anew each year. Make this a permanent change, please.

    Comments: As an institution dedicated to diversity, spirituality, and sustainability, I think it is important to recognize the importance of Burning Man to many in the student body who dedicate countless hours leading up to the spiritual, experimental, sustainable and communal experience. For those who do not participate in Burning Man, the fact that it is Labor Day weekend is enough to warrant rescheduling so we can spend it with loved ones -- myself included.

    Comments: The Labor day weekend is a very important work time for me and I am hoping it can be changed. I have scheduled very important work during the Labor Day weekends and I have very limited opportunity to do so an international student and student worker. I was very disappointed to hear the date change and am wondering why it was changed. It was my understanding that the 2010 cohort petitioned for ICPW to never fall on Labor Day and that we would not have to worry about it. I have very important professional and personal commitments on this weekend that I cannot reschedule. It is likely that I would not be able to make class and would have to speak to my advisor about missing them. I do understand the scheduling challenge and am wondering if there is a way, if enough people express interest, to hold a cohort weekend at another location, like Fox plaza or one of the ICC's.
