The school board just confirmed that our murals are staying exactly where they belong. I am honestly stunned by this result and I owe this entirely to your support. The hallways look exactly the same today as they did yesterday and that is thanks to you.

The murals show actual school spirit. A gallery would look like a boring office building. Bad move.
so many talented kids poured their hearts into those paintings. its actually criminal to just tear them down like they dont matter.
Ridiculous. My older sister painted part of that hallway back in 04 and it still looks great. Keep the murals!
Those walls are what made high school feel like a home. Framing some generic art just sounds like a way to make it look like a hospital. Leave the history alone.
Gegaris has no idea what he is doing. Why fix something that isnt broken? Waste of money and a total slap in the face to all the alumni.

Some of the best school memories were spent working on those walls during lunch. DONT PAINT OVER THEM
