Many different model's of the Chrysler Sebring and different years produced have a dangerous problem that exist's when the car completely shuts off while driving which means no power to steering brakes air bags etc and the computer in them that should capture the failure does not work. I have been posting on the http://www.chryslerforum.com/forum/forumdisplay.phpf=14 about my own exp with my 1999 Chrysler Sebring LXI coupe which was a joint effort between Chrysler and Mitsubishi. Imagine driving and everything goes dead in the car which is VERY DANGEROUS! Please post you comments and exp. here and I will send it off to the Dept of Transportation and Washington. It's time we take a stand now because don't we own Chrysler and the government should make sure these cars are safe. If you read the board you could spend 10 times what the cars are worth trying to fix them. More to come.

I drove my 2010 Sebring to Dr. Everything was good. I went to leave, nothing. Wouldn't start. I got it towed home. I've read everything about Chryslers, how are they even allowed to sell these cars. They are a danger. Mine has shut off twice while driving, without explanation.
