To all family, friends, and supporters of Christopher D. Colbert, we hereby petition this honorable court for a "public hearing" into the excessive and unconstitutional conviction and sentence that left Mr. Colbert with (3) LWOP sentences, under former Judge Gloria Bahakel due to a conviction that denied MR. Colbert a fair trail and counsel. Mr. Colbert has served almost 8 years in prison at Donaldson Correctional Institution and has participated and completed at least 25 rehabilitative programs for self-help. He has resided in faith-based and crime bill dorms for at least 5 years and have facilitated self-help classes to help the "jailed citizens" better themselves. Mr. Colbert has also taken self-inventory and has accepted responsibility for his past actions. We only want justice for Mr.Colbert and a second chance for him to prove that he is worthy to be released back into society.
