Name: Kully Dooley on Mar 23, 2005Comments: The root word in Christmas is CHRIST one should never take the very essence out of a religeous holiday that was started ages ago even before it was used for the extreme publication of the selling toys and material items that take away from the meaning of this religerous holiday the most important religeous holiday next to Easter.State: FLCountry: USFlag

Name: Loreen FAITH Durling on Sep 15, 2005Comments: Hopefully this will explain to others, to help them to understand exactly what a christian is. Perhaps with better understanding. When I say "I am a christian" I'm not shouting "I'm clean living" I'm whispering "I was lost, now i'm found and forgiven. When I say "I am a christian" I'm not saying that I'm strong. I'm professing that I'm weak, And need his strength to carry on. When I say that "I am a christian" I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting that I failed, and need God to clean my mess. When I say "I am a christian " I'm not claiming to be perfect,my flaws are far to visible. But God believes I am worth it. When I say " I am a christian" I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches, so I can call upon his name. It helps to lighten the load. When I say "I am a christian " I'm not saying that I'm holier than thou, I'm just a simple sinner who recieved Gods grace, and all I had to do was ask. Please understand we are not "perfect" or "better" than anybody else and those who act like they are don't personally have a clear understanding of what it means to be a christian. I challenge everybody who reads this, christian or not, to read "Embreced By The Light" By Betty J. Eadie only 147 pages long. There are answers to many many questions. It has helped me to a better understanding of life in general. once you read it, I would love to hear from you all! e-mail me at mightyoaks2004@yahoo.com And have a blessed day! Sincerely,LoreenState: FLCountry: USFlag

Name: Amy Mathis on Dec 2, 2005Comments: I am outraged and offended by the audacity corporate individuals and anti-christian cliques have forced upon us as a nation. You do not see christian coalitions banning Jewish, Buddhist, or Hindu symbols for their holidays.Together we stand, divided we fall. Why try to deface Christian values, when it has been the backbone of our nation in all ways. I sincerely pray as a nation we do not shut the door on a gracious and merciful savior, because we will see war and famine in our nation like never before. In His Service, AmyState: SCCountry: USFlag
