Draft Chris Christie for President (2012)

383 Signatures Goal: 500

As concerned citizens of the United States, we urge Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey to run for the Republican nomination for President in 2012. His dedication to fiscal responsibility and limited government is exactly what our country needs over the coming years.

As Governor of New Jersey, Chris Christie has displayed outstanding leadership by balancing the budget and downsizing the federal payroll. Clearly, he will be able to make the tough decisions that our country will face, despite political pressure from either side.

It is time to take back our country: reduce the deficit, secure our nation's borders, quit apologizing for our actions, shrink the scope of the federal government. It is imperative that we do these things in order to maintain the promise of a better tomorrow that America has always guaranteed.
