| 2 | Johanna Lance | In recent years, Aldershot'scommunity facilities (assets) have been used to make money for a variety of public bodies - money that was then spent elsewhere. I oppose any further loss of community facilities.
Moreover, the Chrismas Lodge Site has an essential role in the preservation of local biodiversity. |
| 3 | Justin Coll | Brickfields is so important for the local area and for the ecology of local wildlife. To loose any of the park or to heavily develop even close to the area will be detriment to everyone's well being. |
| 4 | Anonymous | Fully support |

| 6 | Rod Carter | Quality of life is as necessary as places to live
no birds ,no glimpses of wildlife makes for a gray
existence, lookout for the bats!!! find the rarities |

| 8 | Alison Blenkinsop | I have seen for myself that development for housing would not suit this area and would be a poor use of resources. I commend this petition and ask that it be given due weight. |
| 9 | Philip Geooffrey Thompson | The Building does not need to be removed to provide facilities required in the area.
Protection of the slope is the prime need, to avoid degradation of the quality of the area for local residents and the habitat for natural life diversity. |
| 10 | James Martin | |
| 11 | Christine Elton | As usual the property developers are taking as much land as possible to feather their own pockets. The wild life always has to suffer, just like my husband. It is a shame that we may lose such a lovely area for more bricks and mortar. |
| 12 | Phillip W Duke | Fully support campaign aims. A sensible balance is needed between public amenity and development. In this instance, public amenity outways development of the Chrismas Lodge site for housing. |
| 13 | Jan Lane | I live in Southmead Road and the bottom of my garden backs on to the alley way and Christmas Lodge. I was not aware of the development of this site, and have not been contacted by the council regarding any development. I am concerned that I will lose the privacy I have at present. |
| 14 | Paul Adams | I feel very strongly about this. Whaterver the council decide the country park should remain as it is for the residents to enjoy. |
| 15 | Paul Adams | The house would make an ideal site for a public building such as a museum/gallery and ensuring the surrounding garden are open to the public. |
| 16 | Peter Sullivan | |
| 17 | Brenda Sullivan | |
| 18 | Jon Weston | Yet another planned rip off by HCC & Rushmoor councils and a chance for a couple of their councillors to make themsleves some money off the backs of local people |
| 19 | Jean Sergison-Main | The most environmentally friendly option for this site would be to incorporate into Brickfields Country Park. The access roads to this site are far to narrow for any large housing development and would create considerable traffic hazards! |
| 20 | Anonymous | I fully support this petition |
| 21 | Steve Langham | I am a local resident; this park is a jewel of relaxation in a sea of urban sprawl. Christmas lodge could, should be used to support local activities, and not developed to provide fat profits to developers and add more strain to the local infrastructure. Remember councillors who support this development and vote them out. |

| 26 | Jack Eyers | Please keep the site for public amenity purposes. |
| 27 | Eileen Eyers | I want the Brickfields Park area to remain unspoilt by development for housing. Its wildlife is precious and should not be harmed. |
| 28 | John Large | This area is already heavily congested with traffic and yet another housing devlopment would only exacerbate the problem and would also be detrimental to Brickfields Country Park. Converting to community use would be a far better option. |
| 29 | Andrew Tatarek | Cramming yet more houses into an overcrowded area, without additional infastructure is spoiling Aldershot. |
| 30 | E.SOUTHON | Too much land & historic buildings have been lost to the developers over the last ten years, Aldershot is losing it's identity! And becoming an urban sprawl. |
| 31 | Anonymous | The lodge should be kept for the community. Roads are already conjested. It is very likely that during the construction phase if this development goes ahead, that the larger 38ton contractors lorries will not be able to negotiate Jubilee and Coronation roads and the tight turn at Evelyn Avenue. There fore more smaller lorries will have to be used making the situation even worse. |
| 32 | Alan Frampton | I use the nature reserve quite regularly it is a great place for the comunity and it has great potential for school and independent wildlife education. please consider the community and not just pure money profit. |

| 34 | peter mytton bayley | do not develope this site our already busy roads in church lane east cannot not take it since some burk /burks in the council decided to let building rights on the old farnborough site |
| 35 | Keith Sawyer | Another local planning disgrace. No consultation and no concideration for any local residents |
| 36 | Mrs T Frampton | |
| 37 | B.B.Fisk | I wish to add my name to those others who are petitioning for Xmas Lodge to be developed for use as recreation centre and for other uses as outlined in the petition. |
| 38 | Mick Hyde | Time for Aldershot to reclaim what is rightfully our towns property from the asset strippers of Winchester. Why should we have to lose facilities because of the county councils mismanagement. |
| 39 | Andrew porter | is this what is going to all happen to all of the places of interest in aldershot let's have some where of interest for the kids to learn and pass on to there kids |
| 40 | Heather Reeves | Surely we live in a democracy? We should have the opportunity to decide what happens to our local facilities? Where is the discussion with the residents of Aldershot when the Care Home was closed? More people are living longer and therefore more people will need the care that places like Christmas Lodge provided; selling places like this for short term gain will cost the community in the long term. Where will you live when you are no longer able to cope alone- some privately run for profit "home" where they can charge you a fortune for providing very little. We the community of Aldershot/ Rushmoor/ Hampshire should insist that these facilites are replaced if they are to sell off facilities which we were paying for. This land, if it cannot be used for what it was intended, should be available for the community. |

| 42 | Basil fisk | It would,in my opinion be tantamount to a crime if the housing project would come to fulfilment. We in Aldershot have been deprived over the years of recreation facilities, such as the Boxalls Lane playing field and numerous other parcels of land .
We must all endeavour to put a stop to this latest proposed invasion of the land around and including Brickfiel Park |
| 43 | Basil fisk | We used to live in a democracy.
What happened to it ?. |
| 44 | Betty Bloomfield | I ould like my name on the signatures list but I do NOT want to be contacted on similar campaigns or peititions |
| 45 | Paul Bloomfield | I would like my name on the signature list. I do NOT want to be contacted on similar campaigns/petitions |
| 46 | valereie Renton | Come on HCC !!!! we have the right to be consulted on future plans, after all we live in Aldershot and know what is needed. Please listen to us. |
| 47 | Danial Winchester | |
| 48 | Fred Holmes | We need more field and less brick. WE the residents love and need our wildlife areas to be preserved and even increased....
.....please please please leave us some wildlife sanctuaries. |
