| 951 | Brad Walker | Make the roads safe, for everyone, equally. |
| 952 | Zhahid, Amir | I congratulate you on your efforts. I respect those that do, and not just talk.
I wish you the best in your efforts. I support tougher legislation in this effort. |
| 953 | Chris Long | This is just one of the many reasons why the Law System is so jacked up now. This guy driving the van saw that Chris was coming on his motorcycle and still pulled out then proceeded to stop? I don't know what the law calls it but it seems to me this guy murdered Chris, maybe not intentionally but what kind of idiot would see traffic coming at a turn, still turn and then stop? This really upsets me and if all the law is going to do is give him a $41 fine, then next were gonna see people raping children, planting bombs at school, and they are just gonna get some fine for it? BS... |
| 954 | Rose Peirce | Birthdays, holidays, and anniversaries come and go, and still we are all waiting for some kind of relief from the pain of this loss. We are all thinking of the families affected by this injustice. May some peace be felt by you all over this holiday season. All those who sighn help to continue the awareness. The Russ family needs that, as do others. |
| 955 | J-DoGG | sorry about your loss man |

| 959 | lessie Bishop | I support this petition,, i recently lost my friend frank thomas in a vehicle accident and i know the tragedy that lies behind the situations. It is very unfortunate how motor vehicles are such a threat in our lives regardless if someone is drunk or sober you should always obey traffic laws and be safe and take your time. not rush and be reckless. Im sorry about your husband R.I.P and i hope all works out for you and your family |

| 961 | rick stella | chris no longer has a voice but he has spirit I did not know him but I do now things go good for good people and he was blessed with that auspiciously with his wife |
| 962 | Frank Stella, Jr. | Loss of any life is a tragedy. Loss of a dear and loving husband and father is an even greater tragedy. Our prayers are offered for you and your family. May you all find comfort and peace. |

| 964 | amy russ | i find it appalling that i have recieved such rude and inconsiderate comments on a site that was made in memory of my husband. i ask that you jerks who seem to have so much negativity to say about chris and myself to leave your correct name and e-mail as i would like to have a few words with you. #1 how dare any of you say i have moved on. i cry everyday over this. i have nightmares, i can't sleep and i have lost 20 pounds.
i do get up everyday and try to do my best to keep it together for the kids. i wish i could be with chris more than anything but i know he would not want me to think like that. he would want me to be happy and take care of his kids which is what i am trying my best to do. why would anyone want to cause me more pain. this site was created in chris's memory. if you have nothing nice to say then don't say anything at all. i will not allow any of you to disgrace the man that i loved more than life itself. chris was a caring loving man who would give the shirt off his back. the man who killed him deserves to suffer. i certainly do everyday. had he driven with caution that day and not played russian roulette with a mans life none of us would be suffering now would we. noone is suffering more than myself and chris's family and friends. he still has his wife to go home to and seek comfort from. i now raise 3 children alone. so please i ask that anyone with anything negative to say to just keep it to themselves and spare me any more heart ache! |
| 965 | Anonymous | I find it funny that all you heartless people , do nothing but click the "display my name as anonymous on the signatures list" If your going to post something unneccessary why dont you actually put your "NAME" and your "EMAIL". Lets not act like 2 year olds now : ) you can say put ourselves in his position, but do you ever wonder About being in ours? you have no Idea what its like to come home every day knowing my dad will never be here again. I suffer because my dad was an amazing person in side and out, and you people keep downgrading him on his past, or just because you don't agree with this petition. This site was NOT made for you ignorant heartless people out there to post rude comments. This is a site in memory of Chris, and to help support us. But you heartless people must not see that. You just like to put us through more grief while we have to read these comments. You DON'T know what we go through so dont ever even try to say put ourselves in his posistion. Have you ever thought put YOURSELVES in OUR posistion? Maybe you have, but I'd LOVEEEE to see what you would do if you dad, mom, wife, husband etc, had passed away for a carless driving incident! Im sure you'd do something like this , especially if the man WAS getting away with a 41 $ ticket for carelessly killing them. Hmm, I think your opinions would be alot different if it was your situation. From now and until forever me and my family have to suffer from my dad passing away. This is the worst thing that could possibly ever happen . I was so close to him, and he was an awesome role model. I looked up to him, because he was such a pheonomonous person. He would do anything for ANYBODY . Even if he didnt know you. I bet if you people that dont know him and that are just taking sides would change your mind if you knew how much of a caring, and sincere person he really was. I just think you people with negative thoughts should keep them to your rude , heartless selves. We will not stop until we get justice for my dad Chris.
I LOVE YOU DAD! |
| 966 | same person ^ | Also my mom is the administrator to this petition site. We can delete any comments we do not want on this site. I just wanted to let you allllll know : )

Of course shes going to go out shopping and go with her bestfriends out. But what do you expect her too do sit here and dwell constantly, we try and get her out as much as possible!
SO , YOU ALL KNOW SHE HAS MOVED ON IS WHAT YOUR SAYING? i dont really think you'd know.
UNLESS YOU KNOW US! so why don't you put your name!

| 970 | Anonymous | Amy I am so sorry for your loss. It is a crime that people that kill motorcyclists only get a slap on the wrist... this needs to change!!!! |
| 971 | Renato Stella | |
| 972 | Dave Willett | |
| 973 | Cody Gelezinsky | |
| 974 | Kyle Gibson | Thats crazy!! And unjust! 41 bucks for the life of another person.....Wat ever happened icide? or something like that.....but 41 dollars? thats so crazy... |
| 975 | Brian Allebach | That is severely messed up. How could the state just issue a 41 dollar ticket, when the person was stupid enough to stop, not thinking a motorcycle stops on a dime. The person probably was trying to get paid. |
| 976 | Anonymous | Justice for Chris!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
| 977 | George Padilla | These Stupid laws must be changed. Please start charging people for their carelessness, It is not a matter of " I did not see you" anymore. |
| 978 | P. Bramlette | |
| 979 | Heather Parks | He was my daughters uncle and was a great man that offered me nothing but help. |
| 980 | Steven Frazier | I'm very sorry about your loss. I hope that one day people will be held accountable for their actions. |
| 981 | Aimee 'Thumper' Donnelly | On August 22, 2006 at 1:30pm I found myself dealing with a peterbilt (18 wheeler) coming at me head on in a narrow 2 lane-double barricaded construction zone which he was legally supposed to be driving no more then 30 mph. The driver of the dirthauler was driving around 70mph in a truck which had only 1 working break and had been that way for several months.
There were many other appauling factors I can't beging to go into as they are still to difficut for me to think about.
The driver walked (key word is walked) away from the crash with a ticket for failure to provide proof of current insurance. The companies insurance had recently expired and they had not put the new insurance cards in the truck. Once the current insurance card was produced, the driver was free and clear to walk away from almost taking my life, my husbands wife. My 3 childrens mother.
All these years of fighting for bikers rights. We have made very little progress. The only thing I have heard for the last 19 months from attorneys, police, investigators, etc. has been "you should go home and be grateful little lady, after all, you survived". I am grateful I survived (somedays), but my life will never be the same again. Everything has changed, and the driver has just walked away. Free and clear.
My brother was run over by a driver coming out of his driveway (the man didn't want to have to wait for those 'bikers' to pass him, so he speed up to 60mph to pull out on the road). My brother almost died. Spent 22 days in ICU. Has been rehabing for the last 4 months. Fought 3 doctors to save his left leg. Countless other fractures throughout this body.
The driver... issued a ticket for failure to yeild the right of way. That was it!
God bless you sister. Stand tall and don't back down. Change has to come. I'm fighting for it here in Austin along with my brothers and sisters here.
