| 944 | Amanda Collison | My sister's best friend, Tori Ferrell, was killed in a car accident 4 years ago today, the day before Thanksgiving. She had just turned 17. After spending hours working on the yearbook, Lindsey (my sister) and Tori bid farewell, never knowing that this would be the last time Lindsey would ever see Tori alive. After receiving the call Tori had been in an accident, I drove my sister to the hospital and had to physically pick her up off the floor. A man driving an Expedition ran a red light and slammed into Tori's car, sending it into a telephone pole. He only received a fine as well. I can't believe people can get away with such reckless acts which cause another's fragile life to be taken. |
