Name: Anonymous on Feb 9, 2008Comments: It is very hard trying to find fights direct to Italy from the north of the UK ie:( Mancester / liverpool / Blackpool) I think also Air Italia / british Airways should be encouaging more direct flights to boost economy for both countries, When I went to italy to buy a property it took me 12 hours going, 12 hours coming home, I had to fly to Milan and then to Lamezia terme , not somthing I would do again in a hurry, There is a BIG gap in the market for more flights from the North of the UK to Lamezia Terme Air Port Twice a week there and back the plane would be full, Please, Please do somthing about it, my family and I intend to fly to Calabria at least once a week if the flights were easy available. I look forward to being one of your first customers. Mrs Linda RollisonFlag

Name: Anonymous on Feb 9, 2008Comments: Last year we flew out six times to Lamezia from Stanstead. This year we will probably go out more. We have bought an apartment near Tropea and friends and family would buy in the area if there were flights from Manchester or Midlands.Flag

Name: Andrew Doherty on Feb 19, 2008Comments: I have just purchased a property in a town called Amantea close to Lamezia Termie airport, and now due to Thomson canceling their tuesday flights we can only realistically fly via Stansted, & living in Manchester that isn't the easiest of trips as we planned on travelling twice a month! Please see reason with this flight path, it is a chicken and egg situation. People dont fly there because there aren't enough flight choices and now it just compounds the effect due to less available flight options for people, put the flights on and people will travel there.Flag

Name: Wayne N Gilbert on Feb 27, 2008Comments: As you are probably aware there is a great deal of us Brits who are purchasing property in the Calabria region of Italy. which in itself would give enough custom for dedicated flights from the north/midlands but couple this with the amount of these properties being rented out to other Brits ( I know that I myself have a lot of interested parties in the Sheffield area) this probably would increase the amount of custom five fold especially as the all year round climate gives a long season which would probably be at least 9 months longFlag
