Name: Jacqui Thomas on Nov 20, 2007Comments: We note from your petition that you ask for an increased number of flights from the midlands and the north of England. I live in Cornwall and it is a 7/8 hour drive to Stanstead. I would like to see flights from say Bristol or Exeter which is a more amenable 3 hour drive.Flag

Name: JUDITH AND STEVE ROYDEN on Nov 20, 2007Comments: We have bought a property in Calabria, near Tropea and visited 4 times last year. Unfortunately we had to travel to Stanstead. We are planning to visit a similar amount this year and to have flights from Liverpool or Manchester throughout the year would be fantastic.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Nov 21, 2007Comments: We live in Gloucestershire, and are buying a villa in Calabria. We have enormous trouble to get to Stansted for 6am as you can imagine. Please please, Bristol, Cardiff, Birmingham. But North East London - a nightmare for anyone North/South West. Come on Ryan Air - get it going..........Flag

Name: Anonymous on Nov 21, 2007Comments: Having JUST returned from a prospective property buying trip in Calabria, I was put of from buying there and then as I had to have 4 flights and 2 extra night's stay in Stansted simply to catch connecting flights home to the North East. I really feel that flights from Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds Bradford or Durham Tees Valley are long overdue.Flag
