Name: Carmen Bury on Jan 30, 2009Comments: Through these changes, you are taking away the choice from parents and students as to where and how their children / they wish to be educated. For a similar level girls’ school in the Northamptonshire catchment area, the journey for my daughter would be longer and much more arduous. Isn’t what’s best for the students the most important thing here…rather than the Council’s metrics!Flag

Name: Keith Adams on Jan 30, 2009Comments: my son is currently in year 5 at Kilsby school. IF this ruling is not stopped he will not have the same opportunity as his older brother who attends a Rugby grammer school. Moving to Warwickshire is not an option for us, the consulation/notice period is too short should be at least 3 years. This is a disgrace..Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jan 30, 2009Comments: impairing the education of children for the means of "improving" local schools is unethical. Why should that childs potential outcome be squashed because they have no choice, almost yet again something due to "postcode lottery", where they are to be educated.Flag
