| 602 | Robert Kilpatrick | This should be a given right for all children, for this not to be the case flies against the face of any form of Democracy. |
| 603 | Nicola Appleyard | We live very close to the warwickshire border at Onley park. Rugby is our nearest town and i would like my children to have the choice of going to a rugby school. |
| 604 | Ann Saunders | I wish to maintain choice of schools in line with the the current admissions prcedure and see the current propoal as a reduction of choice which contravenes the national Code of Practice for Admissions. |
| 605 | Anonymous | Rugby is our nearest town and provides quality education. Taking away this choice for parents and students is wrong. |
| 606 | Anonymous | We live in Kilsby and feel an equal affinity to Rugby and Daventry. We object strongly to the idea that our choices about secondary education are about to be restricted. Ashlawn School and Lawrence Sherief are both closer to our home than William Parker in Daventry, and although our boys have not yet reached the age at which they must decide on secondary schools, we object strongly to their options being restricted. In the original decision there seemed to be room for residents of the villages local to Rugby to have access to local secondary schools, as Kilsby is one of these villages, we would like you to ensure that our children’s options are left open. |

| 609 | Sue Ainsworth | My daughter attends Rugby High School and we had hoped that her sister could follow in her footsteps. To change the boundary circle would mean that our younger daughter would not be able to benefit from the great education that her sister has enjoyed and thrived on.
These opportunities are not available nearer to our home unless we are able to pay for private education!
Unfortunately, this is not an option! |
| 610 | Christian Harper | people who pretend to care about children care more about Policies, Rules & codes.
Elections are being held in June--WATCH OUT!!! |

| 616 | Sue Dearing | Freedom of choice!! |
| 617 | N Wicks | I sign this petition for the following reasons:
Lack of consultation - this has been very poorly communicated by WCC & Grammar Schools.
Elimination of Choice - whilst Southam College is a good school I would like to retain the choice to apply to the grammar schools. |

| 619 | catherine morrish | All my childrens hobbies, my weekly shop, and even a hospital visit to a and e yesterday are in Rugby , so I can not understand why not a school, we are so near. |
| 620 | Anonymous | Parents must be allowed choice for their child to go to the school that best fits the childs abilities/needs within a 10 mile raduis of their home. Arbitary county boundaries should be of no relevance, in preventing this |
| 621 | j. nottingham | Rugby selective schools provide a vital choice for children living in neighbouring counties which currently do not provide such a choice. The mantra of this government os one of choice so it seems perverse to limit a choice in this way. |

| 627 | julia hurt | It is a question of choice which is being taken away. |
| 628 | Anonymous | I would like to give best to my children. As Coventry does not have grammer school this means that my children will denied any access to Grammer school and limiting my choice to access good schools |
| 629 | Adele Aldridge | |
| 630 | a. pightling | It is vital that parents are allowed to exercise their right to choose a school of their own preference. |
