Chiron Studies offers unique learning opportunities, empowers PSU students, and creates a wealth of enrichment to the PSU community and beyond. I support Chiron Studies and encourage PSU faculty and administrators to do the same by: working with the Student Coordinator and Committee to fund Chiron Studies, sustainably, and allowing for future growth and adaptability; working with the Student Coordinator and Committee to uphold Chiron Studies courses' for-credit status as a necessary aspect of the program's existence at PSU.

Hilary Lien-Beye, United States1 year ago Comments: It was with a lot of surprise and disappointment I learned that PSU administration was cutting funding for the Chiron Studies program. It is such an innovative, creative, constructive and participatory approach to learning that is very empowering for students. With such a long standing program that seems to be in direct correlation with everything PSU stands for such as civic engagement; sustainability; forward thinking, etc. it is shocking to me that with the growing regard the rest of the nation is paying to PSU as a ground breaking institution Administration is planning to cut this program. Truly unfortunate and backwards. I sincerely hope some agreement is reached and PSU reverses this decision so that collaborative and incomparable curriculum can continue to thrive as offered by Chiron Studies courses. Thank you.
