Many people, like us, I am sure cannot afford health insurance. My husband and myself can deal but my son needs insurance!!!!!Flag

If this program is discontinue many of us will have to choose between feeding our families or having health insurance. Maybe we should just let our children die. Is that what congress wantsFlag

Name: Emily Grove on Apr 12, 2006State: TXCountry: USComments: I am considered low income single parent with 2 children, without insurance my children would not be able to go to school or daycare. I would not be able to work, therefore I would have to go on welfare. What would that do for our "budget"Flag

Name: Cynthia Moreno on Apr 24, 2006State: TXCountry: USComments: I have previously been on this program due to the medical attention my children needed at that time. I currently am seeking to apply for this program for the same reasons stated above, and for the fact that I do not qualify for medicaid based on my income. To which I don't agree with, and now am forced to look towards other organizations for help.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Mar 23, 2007State: TXCountry: USComments: Please don't stop this program. My son has life threatning ashma and chips is the only way for him to get his medications. He also has ADD/ADHD and exema. without his medicatons he can not function at school. Before his medicine he only could reconize 2 letters in the alphabet. Now he is winning awards and recognizes 21 letters. He made that progress in one month. The families that work hard and don't recieve any benifits should get help. We don't depend on anyone! Yes, it would be alot easier to stay home and live off the goverments help. But that is not what we are trying to teach our kids. Please don't stop this program without it I am afraid for my sons future.Flag
