Comments: Until I applied for CHIPS and became eligible my 5 children did not have insurance coverage. As a nurse working in the medical field and having 2 children with asthma, it is very important that I maintain coverage for them.

Comments: If America is willing to help rebuild other countries, it needs to first start with the USA!! I have a B. A. in Education and am currently unemployed... my husband works for a refinery as a contract laborer with NO benefits!!!! Please don't allow anyone to take away our only chance of receiving medical treatment for our 3 children! Being unisured is a silent, disruptive epidemic in the U.S. Anyone could lose their job and the benefits of medical is a necessary staple in every AMERICAN househould. Good health care allows everyone to have a quality life, enjoy their liberty, and the means to pursue happiness. Thank you, Erica Garza

Comments: Not only would I say to keep schip but also to raise the eligiblity criteria. Cut costs elsewhere. Our American citizens are uninsured. I work, I pat taxes, and I cannot afford insuarance for my children. Should our children be ill and sick because we can't find it in our budget to help them. They are our future

Comments: The CHIP program is a godsent for my child. I am a single mother that is bearly able to pay the utility bills, I work part-time and am not able to get my daughter insured any other way than the CHIP program. Please find the money to continue this most valuable program for our future in the United States. They are our greates assets that this country has (our children).
