We, the undersigned, are the adult versions of the children who enjoyed years of Sesame Street and all of the benefits they have provided. Between the lessons taught regarding education, acceptance, and tolerance- as well as the diversity of the puppets and cast members- many of us learned valuable life-lessons that we carry with us still. Now that many of us are parents, we have passed the love of Sesame Street on to our own children.

Although we appreciate the continued commitment towards diversity in culture and education that you have based your program on, we appeal to you to further foster your diversity by bringing back one of our favorite characters, Roosevelt Franklin. Since his complete disappearance in the mid 1990s, many of us have wished for him to resume his place on Sesame Street as part of the cultural diversity that our children need.

Please hear the voices of the undersigned and return our beloved Roosevelt Franklin. He has many lessons left to teach our children...and we love him and miss him terribly.
