With all this talk to support the legalization of marijuana, I hear nothing of the children affected or the neighbors. I'm currently living above a woman who has a license as well as her children. They smoke incessantly and go in binges. This is coming into my apt and now my 2 year old son is breathing it all in. I have contacted the city, cps and police who have all informed me that though it is wrong, my son has no rights. I don't want to move and have asked very nicely, for them to stop to they respond by having all their friends over and smoking even more. So now I am calling for California to change the law so that children's health and safety take precedence over ones license to smoke. This law is so flawed and people are suffering. I should have rights myself against having smoke fill my home.
