Children Online and the UNCRC

On behalf of the children of the world, we, the undersigned, ask the United Nations to examine and assess whether the Convention on the Rights of the Child fully addresses the needs and expectations of children in the digital age.

This petition is being led by Derek Wyatt, Member of Parliament for Sittingbourne and Sheppey in the UK, and co-Chair of the All Party Communications Group (http://www.apcomms.org.uk). The petition has been drafted in conjunction with a number of children's charities as well as representatives from the communications industry.
