Help Madeleine McCann and Protect Children of Europe

The petition

Dear Citizens of Europe,

The abduction of an infant is an unacceptable crime – We didn't react for to long – child abduction has become part of regular incidents in Europe – We should stand altogether in an absolute refusal to accept this as a part of European or even worldwide reality – Paedophiles and Criminal Child Abductors work without frontiers, they infiltrate important institutions, they are very well organized and their work is protected by anonymity of the internet – we have got to react now to keep our children safe.

The person that abducted Madeleine McCann might live in the Area of Praia da Luz - a few experts suggested so. If this is true the local community should not let them get away, we shall not let them get away; for Madeleine's sake, who might very well still be alive (please don't let her down) and for all our children who might be the next victims. The guilty person may well be protected in the community amongst the vast mass of good people. We should not continue to accept this, unknowingly giving our protection. So far the culpable person has not been found directly, so now is the time to try to do it the other way round. We’re calling on all citizens of Praia da Luz to come forward and help us - by giving evidence of their innocence (DNA samples, alibis for the evening of May 3 and demand door to door enquiries are carried out) it will make the polices' job a whole lot easier and faster.

We were wrong to react only now that Madeleine has been abducted. If we had done so earlier she might have never been taken. What happened to Philomena Texeira and her son Pedro is absolutely unacceptable too, just as Jeremiah Vargas or Estelle Mouzins cases and so many others. To help in these cases, we need to react faster, react more. We are suggesting a Europe-wide network of child-protection experts who can work together. We want to establish the American 'Amber Alert' system across Europe. We want to keep our children safe. We all have voices and now is the time to speak up and speak out. The governments of all European countries must hear our message, the European Union must act to help protect its children, it's most innocent of citizens.
Meanwhile we ask the Citizens and Community of Praia de Luz to move for Madeleine now!
