Let\'s ban together and eliminate unnecessary noise from the movies! Sure, we have no way of getting rid of all the people who chit-chat during a film, but there is one noisy group that we should have the power to eliminate - small children in R-rated movies. Under no circumstances should a child under the age of 12 view R-rated movies, and they certainly should not be kept out until midnight to view such material. More theatres should become proactive in fixing this problem (like the Chase Park Cinema in St. Louis, MO which does not allow children in their theatres past 9pm). People\'s bad parenting should not ruin our movie-going experience. Why can\'t more theatres ban children under the age of 12 from movies that start past 9pm There is a reason that children\'s movies are shown during the day...children belong at home after 9pm, not in a movie theatre viewing R-rated material and ruining that material for everyone else!!! By signing this petition, you are asking movie theatres, the Motion Picture Association of America, and perhaps even the local government to step in and do something about this problem!
