The goal of this petition is to change the minds of Lakewood Public Library's directors and grant child care teachers the status to obtain a teacher loan card. Teacher loan cards allow teachers to check out materials for up to four weeks at a time. Many, and most, lead child care teachers carry at least a two-year degree in early childhood education; some have a four-year degree in early childhood education. They all spend up to forty hours a week with young children. They educate children, birth-pre-kindergarten, and they enhance academic content standard learning in their before and after school care programs. Please help me in child care teachers obtaining teacher status from Lakewood Public Library!
