    Comments: This is true and treat dead beat moms the same. Give the step parents that are responsible and raise these children a voice. It is so not fair that I have no voice in court when I'm the one working overtime to make sure my Kid (or stepkid) is fed, in dance, brownies, and has medical and dental.

    Comments: My ex-husband ignores court orders and my local office keeps giving him chances and makes "deals" with him without my knowledge. I call them and I'm referred to their website where I find NO information. I email them and the responses I receive are generic. He lives in FL and continues to get away with paying no child support but in the meantime I have to declare myself bankrupt because I can't make the bills. I get NO HELP from the probation office in my town and my daughter is the one suffering.

    Comments: I have tried for years to collect back child support. I get letters saying my former husband will be served and then nothing. Also medical has never been enforced. So what am I supposed to do, surgery for my child is probably needed soon and the cost exceeds $20,000 and my insurance does not cover this type of procedure- I guess I am going to have to do what I have been doing for the last 14 years hope and pray son's father gets a conscience !

Things that could accomplish enforcement would be that drivers license and passports not be issued to any DEAD BEAT in any country and the back child support due would be also demanded each year via every government taxes collected then forwarded to each counntry to be given to the child in need.

    Comments: My ex has evaded paying support off/on for our youngest child since 2002. Just received notice from local Child Support Enforcement for me to give them his SSN#, last address, make/model of vehicle. It is even worse because the local CSEA has advised me that if I don't assist them they are closing the case for non-compliance. How am I not complying when it is their job to find this person and enforce the court-ordered payments that he is presently over $7500 behind I left this person in 1994-divorced 1996; the only communication has been between him & children. He has not seen youngest in over a year-he has talked (better yet-yelled/cursed her) on telephone on regular basis. His family has been helping him

    Comments: I am owed over 25,ooo dollars of past child support. I have been very patient, but gettting very frustrated with the system. My husband pays child support for one child with his previous marriage and their all over his case when he misses one payment. I have lost my home, my vehicles due to my husband losing his job and my child support. I had to get on public assistance but yet I could not get any child support from the children's father.

    Comments: I have always supported my 4 children. The law has given them back their drivers licenses after they make 3 months of payments. Then they make NO payments and it takes 6 months to get their licenses taken away again. In the meantime, my children suffer. Not that they care, they have never cared if we had diapers, formula, shelter, food, school supplies, shoes, clothing, etc. The law totally protects the DEADBEAT PARENT. We and our children have NO rights at all.

    Comments: We need the US to set up relations with China in regards to deadbeat fathers. I am currently in a situation where my husband is leaving a great career, family and responsibities to move over to Shanghai for less wages and is trying to get out of child support payments here. I believe he will not send payments once he moves over to China because this is what he has threatened to do. He is going to be a very highly paid worker over in Shanghai and is trying to say since I make more than him now,by the US standard of living, then he doesn't need to pay for our daughter.

    Comments: My ex-husband has been under the Deadbeat Parents Act since 2001 and I have not seen a dime of the $65,000 + that he owes. He left PA and all enforcement agencies claim they cannot find him. His family is non-cooperative. IRS and USDOE is looking for him as well. In the meantime I work a full time plus two part time jobs to make ends meet. Why should he get off scot free while my daughter goes without the things she needs (NEEDS, not WANTS) I have come to the resigned conclusion that I will never see a penny of it.
