Because that overtime is not always there and it's not always the same. My husband brings 59.00 home when he doesn;t get overtime because they based his child support on his overtime he gets some times.Flag

I have heard of alot of fathers not wanting to see their on child and some of them probably shouldn't. You know what I mean the dead beat dad's. But it is probably the goverments fault for some dad's who are dead beats, because who wants to pay 300 to 1000 and up a month for one or two kids and pay all the other stuff for kids as well. But don't get me wrong there are just dead beat dad's out there that could care less about there kids. Get them for the child support I understand. The problem is that the goverment does not check nothing out about any thing that is going on about fathers and what they have to pay. They just say pay. Well have to pay my ex, child support and I have my child 3 days a week. Plus I have to pay a babysitter on Friday while I'm at work. And half medical for my child and every thing else I have to pay, plus bills. I really think it is very unfair for me to have to pay her X amount of child support and I have her 3 days a week. I do think there should be some sort of child support. But come on when the child support keeps going up and up and up based on your job please! Taking out any and all income or any money that I might get for Tax Return or even Lottery. The goverment is just fruading Me for having a child and giving them selves a bit and giving it to my ex. I mean is she help less or some thing. Woman wanted to vote, work, and do basicly what a man can do. Why now in this day and age is it like this. A woman can have a baby by a stranger and just run down to the court house and say I want child support. It is crazy, the goverment doesn't even check things out about the guys situation. They say you have a job making 50,000 a year. You have to pay 500 a month. Even though he has 3 kids at home. That is not the way things should be! Well, I think that we Men should stand up even if I'm the first I will! I want to have a future for my daughter and the way things are going now I probably won't by the time she hits a teenager. But not stand up to our jobs they didn't do any thing. They are doing nothing, it is the goverment that is doing it to us. Lets stand and get these dumb laws changed to help benifit the fathers that want to be there for there kids and can't because of the goverment. I will find a way to change them. I am not going to sit back and watch my daughters future go down the tubes.Flag

I filled a motion for review because I took a lower paying job and instead they have raised my child support 3 times in 4 years and I refuse to pay such high amount, I continue to pay and be responsible, but I will not pay what they have raised and now I even have back pay. I could even loose my job and all my benefits that I have worked for 15 years. The system takes care of making resposible fathers into deadbeat delinquents because they take advantage of us paying, responsible fathers for the one that are not responsible. It really sucksFlag

Yet I give her MYSELF and whatever money I can. The court never took in consideration that I have a child already and I do my best. My job shut down last year yet that made no difference to the childs support when the money was not there.
