Physical abuse is when a mother or a father brutally beats their child over and over again for a reason that only the mother would know of and why she would do such a thing to her own son or daughter. I am reading this book called “ A child called it by Dave Pelzer” Dave pelzer is sharing his life story on how his mom use to slam his head against a mirror, put him inside a stove while it was being heated, made him drink ammonia, and surprisingly stabbed her own son out of frustration because he was doing the dishes to slowly. His mother was always drunk or always drinking. Dave had other sibling but the mother treated them like a normal mother who treated their sons with respect and did not beat them every day. It amazes how he is still living with his mother after all has been done to him and has not tried to run away. That is called loyalty. Even though his mother has starved him for over two weeks and beats him, he still stays with his family because that is his family and he would not know what to do if he did not have them to help him with his journey on the road to life. Back to what I was saying is that physical abuse can leave scars for the rest of that child’s life and it can and
will dramatise them to the point where they can’t trust anybody and they believe that they don’t belong in the world and it could come to the point where they commit suicide so that they don’t have to go through the humiliation anymore.
