The public apology has finally been issued and the pressure we applied proved necessary to secure this outcome. I am drained from this process but I am glad we held them accountable for their overreach. We must remain vigilant to ensure the department respects our community rights moving forward.

The silence from the department remains heavy and insulting despite the clear message we have sent. I am exhausted by the constant uphill battle against their lack of accountability but I refuse to walk away from this fight for justice.

Using a volunteer position to bully someone is so low. Leave the Rabbi alone.
Eric Jolliffe needs to go. We live in Canada not a dictatorship where police tell rabbis who can speak.
ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. Why are they targeting the Jewish community? Apologize now.
Very disappointed in the YRP. Abuse of power plain and simple.
This is totally unacceptable behavior from the police. They should be protecting free speech not censoring it.

Where is the apology?? The chief needs to step down if he cant respect basic rights.
