This petition is in order to get the Village Board to understand that their are several residents that would either like to have or do not mind if their neighbors have laying hens. If you would not be opposed to your neighbors having chickens if kept clean and quiet or you would like to own chickens as a source of eggs please sign this petition. I had brought it to the boards attention in the past and was denied even the thought of getting an ordinance in place for us to be able to own chickens in town. I am in hopes if they see the residents are not opposed by placing their signature on this petition that they will at least open up to the idea. I would like to have the signatures in place so I can get the request on the agenda in September. Thank you for your support.
