Put up the volleyball posts at Chicago's beaches.

38 Signatures Goal: 100

This petition was created to have the City of Chicago start placing the poles up at all the beaches in Chicago. Here are the main reasons... 1.) It's already in the monthly budget. They are always put up in the couple of weeks before Memorial Day weekend. 2.) The weather has been unseasonably nice. If they're already planning on putting them up, why not a couple of weeks earlier. This saves from the portable systems taking up much more space and gives more players a chance to enjoy playing at the beach. 3.) Setting up the posts earlier will lure more players from the suburbs to visit the city, thus creating more revenue for the city and businesses. 4.) In 2006, Chicago was ranked #1 in Men's Fitness Magazine as the Fattest City. Putting up the posts could be seen as an attempt to rectify this major health issue. By signing the petition, you are agreeing that you would like the City of Chicago to have their city workers put the volleyball posts back in.
