I am proud to call myself "Native American" or "American Indian" My great-grandfather went to live on an Indian Reservation in Anadoka, OK in the 1940s - He died there, and one day, I want to find his burial site.

    Comments: I belong to an organization in Ohio, The united Cherokee of Ohio, a preservation society founded on the culture of our ancestors. We have not nor do we seek any funding from the Federal Government nor the Tribal government of the CNO or EBC. We have had teaching as handed down from our ancestors by our family elders for our benifit. We do not disrupt or pry into Tribal Business, but have given donations to the Elders of Tsali manor in North Carolina and also to Family Services and the Boys Club there. I personally have sat with some of the Elders who have stated that it was Ok fo rus to follow the ways of our ancestors. I have several friends of the Eastern Band who also support our efforts in the preservation of our culture.
