Comments/Opinion: there has already been too much ink spilled and money spent on this. I'm ashamed of this city's administration, and the stance they are taking on this. Let the cow be! we have much bigger fish to fry. honestly.

Comments/Opinion: I think the cow and flags should stay. I don't see lettering on the sign would it not be considered sculpture? If things are to bee removed from roofs I think the clock on the roof of the E World Exchange Tower should come down who can tell what time it is + it is a blight on the skyline. Ottawa has very few novelty signs and where they are they are in good taste adding atmosphere to the area.

Comments/Opinion: It gives the neighbourhood character. If necessary, how about you get all the fans/petitioners to donate a dollar so you can afford to erect the "roof" or whatever needed to satisfy the requirements.

Comments/Opinion: Let the Cow Stay. Just heard your plight on CBC, "As it Happens" gave me lots of chuckles!!! 20K, and a year long study to decide whether the city should allow the Cow to stay or go? Such a *udder* waste of taxpayers' dollars. One up for our family's move to Victoria B.C. and I am so happy my tax dollars are not supporting this study. Out here on the island (Coombs) we have real sheep on grass market store roof tops and no one takes offence! As an ex-Cumberland resident I am sad to not be able to shop at Cheddar Et Cetera. Hope you will add an online store feature to your sight? Will be sending many Ottawa friends and family your link to support local business and especially local farmers! Good luck retaining the lovely cow.

Comments/Opinion: As a volunteer literacy tutor at Frontier College, the use of this cow is quite appropriate. According to Statistics Canada, one in six Canadians cannot read a commercial sign such as that used by the owners. Keep the cow! Live for the illiterate is tough enough. Consider yourself lucky that you can read this comment. Many cannot!
