Comments: I have a daughter with a CHD and the CHIN network is the one thing that kept us going to pull through her surgeries. Reading about others success gave us the positive thoughts and the information to make it!! More people need to be aware of the network and all the wonderful things they do!!

Comments: I am a healthy married female and gave birth to a child with CHD. Without medical intervention my son would not have lived more than a few hours. It's amazing how many people are effected by this yet no one knows about. It's so important to get information out to families they need resources to help them understand the diagnosis and the treatment their children need. Please, I beg you sign this into effect. AHD is not enough it's aimed at people that have heart problems due to lack of care for their body, letting themselves become obese. Our request is for awareness of the children born with these defects, it's not the mothers fault, something happens in utero and the heart doesn't develop the way it should. It's not by missuse of our bodies, drugs, etc. Please make this special day a national one. Thank you so much!

Comments: I am a grandparent, not a parent. These children and their families are seriously impacted by this malady over which they had no more choice than does any other congenital disease victim. They deserve to have as much research and other medical resources devoted to them as other groups.
