Vision: Academy of Legends (AoL)Public Charter School's (PCS) vision is to be a 21st century-minded, whole-child, extended school day/year, single-sex classroom (3rd thru 8th), Two-Way Spanish Immersion, International Baccalaureate (IB), Leadership Culture through technology public charter school. We will prepare our "Ambassadors" with a servant leadership mentality, while giving them the higher order skills and academic foundation to not only prepare them for college, but for life! The goal is to teach "Ambassadors" how to think - not simply what to know. Mission: Academy of Legends Public Charter School’s mission (by means of the public charter school model through education choice) is to develop a 21st century culture of inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring leaders who help to create a better and more peaceful world. We would do this through inter-cultural understanding and respect, instilling in our “Ambassadors” (students) the passion to leave an indelible legacy on our communities locally, nationally, and globally. Our aim is to provide a free, accessible, high-quality, public charter school education that exceeds state and national standards to an ethnically, socio-economically, and culturally diverse population with high community involvement through services and community engagement. Our focus is to promote the whole-child approach through an integrated, leadership curriculum helping our children to become the best versions of themselves.
