here at "We Want Justice" we believe that the Police Chief Kerr Putney doesn't want to release the video footage of the 'murder' of Keith Lamont Scott is because there may NOT have been a weapon that were told to him by his police officers. The family of Mr. Scott said that he was a unarmed, disabled man, reading a book in his vehicle when the undercover police officers didn't IDENTIFY themselves as police, and shot and killed Mr. Scott.

Chief Kerr Putney said that this investigation will be transparent, but he refuses to release the video to the public, to see what he see but because a (COVER UP) is possibly being put in place, the Chief refuses to release the video.

A new law in North Carolina that will take effect Oct. 1 bars police from releasing video without a court order. “Charlotte should set an example for North Carolina by releasing footage of the shooting promptly before the obstacles imposed by the new state law take effect.
