Name: Ann Hilliker on Mar 10, 2010Comments: It's time he got out! He's been screwed from the very beginning. The judge said he had enough time with his lawyers - less than 2 hours to prepare his case, before they talked him in to pleading guilty. They railroaded a kid that didn't know anything and trusted the lawyers that were appointed. He's done all that the system has asked him to do and more! And I need him at home!Flag

Name: Thomas Bayne on Mar 15, 2010Comments: I would recommend Charles Morton for parole. He has made much progress and has worked hard to get his life back on track. While there is no way anyone can undo the past, we can move forward and allow Mr. Morton to be a productive part of society.Flag

Name: Shannon Pickens on Mar 24, 2010Comments: As Charles' cousin, I never knew that each time he was denied parole he was never given a reason. That is totally unfair. I also didn't know that he ended up accidentally pleaing guilty to intentional murder. How can lawyers do such a thing as to advise someone who didn't intentionally murder to say they did intentionally murder. That is crazy! I also believe that Charles is seeing little reward for his good behavior and could become discouraged. I definately do not want to see this happen. I DO believe that he should be released even if he should have to be on house arrest for a period of time or under close observation.Flag

Name: Pam Myers on Aug 7, 2010Comments: Charles Morton should be let out of prison, he made a mistake which that he regrets every day of his life and not only was it to his best friend, the victim was also my best friend and I think he has been locked up for longer than he should have ever been. There are criminals worse than anything he did walking the streets every day and then you have a person that gets life for a mistake. The judicial system can work if the right ones let it and so I am asking you to let him out so he can become a productive citizen. He has very much proven he has paid for the (mistake) he made.Flag
