268 AnonymousPuppy mills are horrible; the only reason they exist is for cruel people to make easy money. The suffering endured by puppy mill dogs is unimaginable.
269 Maria SchneiderSTOP to breed while shelter animals die!!! As long as Puppy Mills exist millions of shelter animals will be put down. Not to talk about the poor dogs in the mills that suffer incredible pain.
270 Marie SekundAnimals have the same feelings we do and they have the same right to live a respected, secure, caring, loving and healthy life, just as we have! Itīs our duty to take good care of them! They arenīt our private toys and they arenīt born to suffer, so we can make money! Please help our animalfriends!

279 AnonymousI bought a dog from Petland for 3000 dollars. I later learned where she came from, a puppy mill breader Anita Light from MO who sold it to the Hunte Corp who gave her a "clean" bill of health. Then my puppy was trucked from MO to AZ to be sold at Petland. The puppy had a cold when I bought her. She had giardia with diahrreah a few days later. Also my poor dog whimpered any time we took her in the car because she must of had post traumatic stress syndrome from being shipped in the back of a big rig truck from MO to AZ. Then at 6 months she developed a genetic disease that required a 2000 dollar operation which sawed of her hip joint. She whelped and moaned in pain all night after this operation and had 20 staples on the 6 inch wound. It was hoorible. She is a year old now and ok but I hope she does not develope any other problems in the future. I have learned my lesson and I support the END TO PUPPY MILLS. I only feel for her mother who is probaly still stuck in a cage, uncared for, for the rest of her life while her offspring is cared for so much more. It is truely sad all the horrible implications of Puppy Mills.

283 V. OsbournThere HAS to be an end to this. Anyone with any compassion at all for the animals, for the people who try to save them, when there is no saving, because of the fact they never had a chance to begin with needs to say something. Down with puppy millers! To jail with them!
284 Rebecca DinesPuppy mills must end! These people are inhumane and greedy!
285 Tarra PetersPlease adopt, don't shop!!! In my city we have puppy stores that are of course being supplied with puppies from these puppy mills. The puppies arrive sick, worm infested, and in some cases I have heard of broncitis and pneumonia. I know of a case personally where the buyer had to put their puppy to sleep because of the damage to the internal organs from the worm infestation!!! This was a 10 week old puppy! These puppies are suffering and we need to stop this abuse!
