TOTAL NONSENSE. Chaplin brought joy to the whole world regardless of what he believed. leave the artists alone.
Seriously? It is Charlie Chaplin! Everyone loves him. So tired of these people trying to control everything in Udupi.
Let the statue stand! It is an icon of cinema not a religious symbol. Stop acting like the great dictator himself.
Udupi is better than this. Dont let these extremists win.
Why are we going backwards?? Let them build it. It is just a statue of an actor for gods sake.

This is ridiculous. Art shouldnt have a religion. Let the crew finish the statue.
